Over the past 77 years the Community Programs of the Chandler Service Club have given more than a million dollars in grants, gifts and scholarships to Chandler and members of the community. Members of the Club provide support to the East Valley through volunteer efforts delivering positive change in areas of need in the Chandler community.

While the focus of the Chandler Service Club is usually programs benefiting children and families in need, the Club also supports additional service efforts. We often provide volunteers for the multiple opportunities and requests we receive to positively support our community.

Warm Feet, Warm Hearts

Our signature program is our “Warm Feet, Warm Hearts” project that provides shoes and jackets to Chandler area school children in need. Despite the overall middle class status of most Chandler residents, there are families whose children do not have appropriate footwear or adequate jackets in order for them to attend and succeed at school. School health assistants, administrators and teachers notify Chandler Service Club of the need for shoes or jackets in their schools, and we provide them immediately.

Many thanks to the talented Ideas Collide agency for donating their incredible services and creating the Warm Feet Warm Hearts program logo!

The shoe and jacket program has helped the students here at Erie tremendously. Many of the students that received this service were really happy and excited to come to school the next day. They were not embarassed to come to school, since now they have new shoes to come to school with and won’t be made fun of by other students. The jackets are wonderful. There are many students that come to school without a sweater or jacket in the winter. This is very heartbreaking since they are cold and freezing. The jacket provides the warmth they need and also lets the students know that someone does care for them. The parents of these students are so appreciative, for this program. Many of these parents cannot afford shoes or jackets for their children.  This is a big help for them.  Thank you so much for this program. I am truly happy this program exists for students.
